NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Ride out to Manorville via Patchogue Holbrook rd, Union, Bluepoint, Buckley, Woodside, Horseblock, Victory, Barnes, North, Mill, Halsey Manor, 111 with a break at McD's at 25 miles. Return in similar fashion.....
Solid B pace. This was listed as a B/B+ but I changed it to a B ride.
Meet at King Kullen lot, exit 70, LIE, South 1/2 mile. Park in KK lot, near to and facing McDonalds. We will stop at the Bean and Bagel (appx. 1/2 way point) for snacks/bathrooms.We will than ride along the Grumman trail, see the airplane displays, and continue back to our parking area. With sunset at 7:53pm bright colored clothing and bicycle lighting, front and back, are highly recommended.
This is a hilly and structured ride through Stony Brook, Old Field, Setauket and Poquott.
Narrow roads require single file riding along most of the route. The ride allows a few locations to break-away from the group, as instructed by the ride leader, otherwise the group will stay together.
