Want to improve your hill ability? This ride is for you. We do B- on the flats (14-17 cruising speed) and whatever we can on the hills. Wait ups after hills whenever necessary.

Ride is on! The ride back to the parking lot needs to be changed. Still working out the details in my head. Old Town Road is under construction from Sheep Pasture Rd. to at least Rt. 347. The milage will change due to the ride back being different, different route will probably increase milage slightly.
Sunset is 8:19pm, losing 8 minutes in the past 2 weeks, wow!
We'll be doing the 29 mile ride which will include Crane's Neck, however, limiting all 3 activities at the West Meadow Beach stop (ride to the end, bathroom break, artesian well) may be imposed, based upon available light.
This is a hilly and structured ride through Stony Brook, Setauket, Poquott and Old Field. Hilly means hilly. Structured means we stay together as a group. A few specific locations have been designated for riders to break-away from the group, as instructed by the ride leader.
Narrow roads require single file riding along most of the route. Bright colored clothing and bicycle lighting, front and back, are highly recommended.
Yikes Bat Man! NEW time and start. Come join us for a stroll around the neighborhoods and down to the beach. NO ONE LEFT BEHIND. Extra care taken for Newbies.
