NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Off to Briermere, with a brief stop to see the American Bison, if they are in a field near the road.  If you want to share a pie, bring $.  Briermere also has a variety of single person sized baked goods. They do not serve coffee, but they have a variety of cold drinks available.  Picnic tables are outside for social distancing, and bathrooms and porto-potties are both available. To join this ride, text Bill G. @  631-356-3036 with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, your full name, and date of ride.  I will let you know if you are in the ride, or whether the ride is full. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:45am.

Join me for this C+ ride that will average 12.0 - 12.5 We will be riding from the Timber Point Golf Course in East Islip to Islip, and doing a few loops with some nice sights and water views.  We will take a brief break along the way, so bring your own snacks, and we will find bathroom stops when necessary.

No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Due to possible weather issues, the exact route will be determined the morning of the ride (thus, no cue sheets). Any cancellation by 9AM.

After entering the golf course, park in the FIRST lot on your RIGHT.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.

Hills keep you warm!

Heading up through Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and Stony Brook. 

This is a hilly ride, we climb Old Mill (twice), Farm Rd, Harbor Hill, and River Rd.

B pace effort, take the hills at your own pace, wait-ups as needed.

Quick deli stop in Stony Brook, please bring along snacks and water.
