NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Park in the lot across from Kreb for a ride to the Marina (if we ALL feel strong we could go to Smith Point Beach). Bathroom stop at Wertheim, snack stop at 7-11 if wanted.
We will ride out to Shinnecock Inlet, the easternmost part of Dune Road. Note: Predicted winds as of 3/13 are light, if they strengthen, the ride will be a scenic meander around Quogue. Bring drinks and snack for our stop at the Inlet. Restroom stops at about miles 7 and 27. At mile 27 we will be at a pocket park in Westhampton Beach, with the Beach Bakery and 7-11 nearby. To join this ride, text Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, date of ride and your full name. Note: If I don't receive any texts, I cancel the ride. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 08:15am
We'll see what distance the group would like to ride, say between 20 to 25 miles, while riding around the Manorville area. We'll hit Mill Road as part of the fun and be back before dark... But wear bright reflective clothing just to be safe!
