NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.
For Other Events in our area and off Long Island check out the "Other Rides & Events calendar" and the "Forums"

What up everyone! Can't wait to get back on the road!
Kreb Eastport ride this Saturday at 9am. It will be shorter 40 mile route (subtract section to southampton in RidewithGPS map). Also, we may reverse the route depending on the wind direction.
WARNING: This will be slow, or at least, slower than we have been in the past. I have not ridden in 4 months, so it will be an A- ride, averaging 19-20 mph. We will get faster (hopefully), but not on this ride.
PLEASE CHECK BACK AT 7am for WEATHER UPDATE, CHANGES, OR CANCELATIONS.
It is helpful if you could text me to let me know you're coming, especially early in the season so I can plan accordingly. Thanks!
Nice flat ride to Bellport where can have a snack and find a bathroom. Anyone can join this ride even if your goal is not to do the Metric. Always check back for any changes which would be posted by 7 am. Any questions, feel free to text me.
This is the first ride of the Beginner Century Training Series. You must register for the whole series to participate. Cruising Speed is 10 mph. See the webpage https://www.sbraweb.org/node/170 for more info or email: (Century@SBRAweb.org).
This will be our first ride to Briermere Farms for this year; they just opened. This time we are changing the route, so while any road can take you there, listen to the directions so you don't get off-course. We'll head out through the fields and visit Deep Hole on the way out. The return sees us hitting County Road 105, to Riverhead before we hit Forge Road and Grumman Blvd, on our way home.
Some rolling terrain and some wind should give us a good workout! So lets get some miles in, in preparation for the Orient Century...
