Sorry, had to cancel as not enough interest ... I'll have to get the miles by riding some of them on at least one SBRA ride.

I couldn't do two rides at once last Saturday so Bernie was good enough to let me use his route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30037769 . I know many of the roads but haven't done this route so the more riders that load the ridewithgps the better ... my Garmin 820 has hung up in the past ;-( .

I've done an 80 miler on the Monday before the RR Century and not suffered a consequence but for some people it is better to begin tapering off the distance/effort before this date and riders should take that into consideration.

The "Swiezy / Pope" Montauk Railroad Century continues. Join SBRA for Long Island's premier 100 mile ride. The 100 mile ride starts at the Babylon train station and the Metric Century (62 mile) ride starts at Mastic train station. Riders receive snacks and a comfortable ride back from Montauk on the LIRR (if registered with the train ticket option). Bicycles are individually padded by our experienced club members and returned to train station by moving van.

AGAIN THIS YEAR ... there is an option for riding a Metric Century - 100 kilometers (62.137 miles). 
To participate you MUST BE A CURRENT SBRA Member by MARCH 31, 2019 (no exceptions).

Registration fee with one way non-refundable train ticket is $30 and must be paid online by June 1st.
Registration fee no train ticket is $15 and must be paid online by June 1st.

Due to insurance rules, SBRA membership is required for this event.
You MUST BE A CURRENT SBRA MEMBER by MARCH 31, 2019 (no exceptions).
There is a limit of 130 riders for the "with train ticket" option (no limit for "no train ticket" option).
AGAIN THIS YEAR ... there will be an option for riding a Metric Century.
Cue sheets are provided but the route is not marked.
No supported waterstops.
SAG service will be limited. If you have never done a long ride, please have an alternate ride home.
