Nice evening, mostly flat, 16 mile, B- ride in and around Calverton. The ride start location, Veterans Memorial Park, is new. It's located on Route 25, 3.5 miles east of the William Floyd Parkway on the right side after the baseball fields and before the National Cemetery. The average pace for the ride will be around 14.5 mph. Cruising speed at times will be higher to produce the average. The ride's average for me is determined by wind speed and the ability of those that show up. There will be a short rest stop around mile 7. No one will be dropped.
