Details (RL read field instructions carefully):
With sunset almost at the summer solstice, we'll be doing "The Full Monte"* (34 miles) by adding Upper Sheep Pasture Road to the ride. Our stop at West Meadow beach will permit use of two of the three functions: ride to end, bathroom, artesian well.
This is a hilly and structured ride through Stony Brook, Setauket, Poquott and Old Field.
Narrow roads require single file riding along most of the route. The ride allows a few locations to break-away from the group, as instructed by the ride leader, otherwise the group will stay together.
* Definition from Urban Dictionary: full monty: Doesn't necessarily mean to take off all your clothes. It just means the "whole thing" or going the "whole way" not stopping at a point.
Highly recommended: bright colored clothing and bicycle lighting, front and back.
