**UPDATED – 8/3/2014 – 7:20AM- DELAYED TILL 12:30 I will update again at 11:30 if there are any changes** Hang in, I will do my best to get this ride in today!!

I tend to be long winded so click "read more" on the bottom for the entire post. - How about taking a ride to Great River today? We will go the usual route through Connetquot Park and then do a loop in Heckscher Park where one can stretch the legs a bit; this is not a pace line. The route is mostly flat with 3 little hills. This ride will come in with an average between 14.9 & 15.0 mph; depending on the wind it could come in a tad higher. The road speed on this ride will be between 15 and 17mph.

Please be prepared to do road speeds higher than 15.0. However, we will slow down for humidity and squirrels. We'll be making a food/rest stop around mile 20. Bring a chair and supplies if you want for an end of ride repair clinic.

Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:30AM if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride or need directions to the start.
