A Fire damaged the buildings, concession stand and boardwalk at Cupsogue. We will still go to the beach bakery and do a short ride on Dune Road. Mileage will be between 20 and 25 miles roundtrip. Park in the King Kullen lot closest to Montauk Highway. We will travel thru Eastport, Remsenberg and Westhampton, crossing over a bridge to Dune road, heading West thru Westhampton Beach and Westhampton Dunes. We will take a short break at Cupsogue, on the boardwalk, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean (12 mile mark). On our return, we will stop at the Beach Bakery for a snack, coffee and restrooms. There are no major hills on this ride. Speed will average 13-14mph, depending on wind, temperature and rider ability. For information contact Bill Gravitz at 631-356-3036.
