**UPDATE – 11/01/2014 – 9:30PM The ride is CANCELED - I have been keeping track of the weather and it appears the wind will be picking up to 29mph and I can’t seem to make a route that would keep the wind, for the most part at our backs. This is it “The Hampton Maid Ride”. What does that mean? Pancakes, bacon, eggs, omelets, waffles and coffee, and maybe chocolate milk, but no jelly donut. But, first you have to go on a 24 mile ride on a nice route in the Hamptons with your friends. The average speed will be between 14.8 and 15.0 mph, maybe a tad higher depending on the wind. The road speed will be in the 15-17mph range.
