I don't lead rides often enough to be effected but others do ... If the website is off the air for a period of time greater then expected, let's say 12 hours, maybe the 48 hour rule for posting a ride and receiving Ride Leader credit should be suspended for the following 24 hours. When the system is again functional, any ride posted for a start time within the next 24 to 48 hours will receive ride lead credit. If this dispensation causes more work for maintaining stats then that should also come into consideration before instituting this temporary change. Heck ... it might snow ;-( ...
