How about taking a ride to Great River today? We will go the usual route through Connetquot Park and then do a loop in Heckscher Park where one can stretch the legs a bit. The route is mostly flat with 2 little hills; maybe 3. The average pace for this ride will be between 14.5. & 15.0 mph, depending on the wind and other factors. The road speed will be 15-17 mph to produce the average. We will be making a deli/rest stop somewhere between miles 18 and 20. After the ride cookies and supplies; I think. Maybe a sale at Guinta's, who knows.
