I got into an accident at the very end of Trevors ride leading at one of the last turns in town as I hit a car
while only doing a simple right turn. The car was way in the middle of the road all sudden in front of myself.
I was not even close to the center as far as I can remember.

I just managed not to hit it frontal. As every one said, they saw it better from behind, it was quite fast/speeding plus the driver had a suspended license as the police found out what came to my attention later. It is still puzzling me why I did not saw it earlier also I can not say anything about how fast it was myself.

Spend 5 hours in ER at St. Marthers/PJ Stat. Hospital:

fractured left radius, just at the wrist :-( Amazingly, nothing else, very minor scratches. MTB glove is ripped but fully protected my skin, my hand beyond the fracture is bruised/badly swollen.

I saw later a picture Craig took of the car: Mirror broken off and all the way to the end scratched/dented in!

Have to go to the Ortho for follow up and casting.

And thank you so much to Phil and Craig for the support and patience waiting at Marthers for me to get released and driving me home :-)
