Ride the classic Bike Boat Bike route around Peconic Bay.  We will start at the Riverhead Waterfront Park and we will avoid Scuttle hole road (which I don't like because of too much traffic ). This is a very pretty route with many water views. We will ride both Shelter Island Ferries and there will be Deli stops in Greenport at mile 27 and in Noyack at mile 52. Bring money for the ferries and the Deli Stops. Bring water and something with electrolytes.  I think the ferries will cost 8 or 9 dollars total. Pace will be in the 14's because of the hills and rollers - Max cruising about 17. This is a taxing ride but very satisfying with great scenery.  Traffic should be light on this friday well after Labor Day.
