    New York is the new Florida.  No need to pack your bags for the winter anymore. 

    The weather forcast is in the high 50's with tropical breezes.  Sunset is still early, 4:25pm, so the ride starts at 2:30pm. 

    Limited sunlight: Bring bicycle lighting and wear bright colored clothing.

    Hilly ride through Stony Brook, Setauket, Poquot and Old Field. 

    Pace in the high teens, with the average in the low 15's due to hills.

    Paceline where appropriate.
