    We will go to Middle Island for a change this week. We'll get there using The Bartletts or Ashton. The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 and 15.0 mph +/- depending on the roads, wind direction and other conditions which could put the ride in the lower part of a "B". The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph. Around mile 12 we’re going to stop at the senior citizen discount bagel shop or the deli. There are a few places along the route where a paceline or leg stretches can be done for those who wish.

    Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00AM, if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride or need directions to the start.
