It is my understanding after this ride there will be eggnog, wink, wink supplied by Warren, and perhaps a cherry crumb pie; can’t say who in case it doesn’t arrive, and whatever else. Aren’t you glad you ride?

How about taking a ride to Great River today? We will go the usual route through Connetquot Park and then do a loop in Heckscher Park where one can stretch the legs a bit. The route is mostly flat with 2 little hills; maybe 3. The average pace for this ride will be between 14.7 & 15.0 mph +/-, depending on the wind and other factors it could be in the lower "B" range The road speed will be 15-17 mph to produce the average. We will be making a deli/rest stop somewhere between miles 18 and 20.
