I’m not sure where we’ll go today it all depends on the wind, snow melt, and sand conditions. I’m thinking of going to either Middle Island or Patchogue for a distance of around 22 miles, give or take a few. The average pace for this ride will be between 14.7 & 15.0 mph, or what conditions allow.

The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph or slower if needed for safety concerns.  No matter which way we go there will be a food/pee stop. If the road conditions allow there are a few places along the route where a pace line or leg stretches can be done for those who wish; use your own good judgment.  There is no obligation to join in a pace line, you won’t get left behind.

Winter has finally arrived so please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations. If it is too cold, windy or adverse road conditions the ride will be canceled, delayed or moved. Any changes will be posted no later than 8:00AM if necessary.
