    CANCELED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST/PARTICIPATION.

    NOTE: 8am start togther with other lower paced group doing a 55isch mile shorter loop, extension to 85mi TDB on participation.

    *** Pushed one week again to 14th -- looks too wet for a remote self supported long ride ***

    From New Paltz, NY I plan to ride about 80..85 miles including 4 major climbs "Cols":

    1) Minnewaska (350m / 1050ft)

    2) Yeagerville (400m / 1200ft)

    3) Peakmoose Rd -- gentle but long  (200m / 600ft)

    4) Mohonk (300m / 900ft)

    However, per GPS a total climbing of about 2200m  / 6600ft will accumulate.

    As a reference: I climb typically at a sustained VAM rate of about 700-800m/h (vertical ascent per hour) -- but we will wait regroup after those major climbs.
