    UPDATE – 6/21/2016 – 7:25am The ride is DELAYED till 9:30. I am waiting to see where this one rain patch is going; it looks like it will pass. Final decision posted by 8:30am

    How about going to Yaphank today? The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 and 15.0 mph. The road speed on this ride will be between 15 and 17 mph.

     

    depending on the roads, wind direction and other conditions. There are a few places along the route where one can stretch the legs if desired. There is no obligation to do this: you won’t get left behind. Around mile 20 there will be a rest stop at the deli.
