As you will see from the other posts, we are doing a multi-level ride starting at the Riverhead Waterfront, behind Twin Forks Cycles. After the ride, Nick (owner of Twin Forks Cycles) has graciously invited us to come in the shop for refreshments. Then, if you wish, some of us are heading over to the North Fork Lobster Roll, on Sound Avenue, for lunch.
Everyone is welcome to join us, but please let us know if you plan to do lunch so we can reserve enough space!
PARKING FOR THIS RIDE: we will be parking in the center of the Waterfront area, directly behind Twin Forks Cycles (large sign on the building, facing the water).
My ride will go out East then North to Briermere, where we will stop for a break. We will then head back toward Riverhead, riding past the Bison (if they are out) and back to the Waterfront. This will be at a C pace that will average 11.7 – 12.9 (with riding speeds of 5-50), depending upon wind, temperature, my disposition for the day, road conditions and rider ability.
