Details (RL read field instructions carefully):

This is a paceline ride. It is a training ride for those of you who would like to learn how to ride in a paceline.  The pace will be kept under control, so as long as you can maintain a speed of 15-16 MPH, you'll be OK. This ride is intended to be a fun, non-competitive ride!

We'll  cover paceline etiquette,  how to ride smoothly in a group, and how to keep from getting dropped by a group.  We'll ride around the old Grumman property in Calverton, on a 6 mile loop, and everyone will get a chance to pull the group around. We can also cover cornering and other factors that can make you a faster rider.

If you are going to the Seagull Century, knowing how to ride in a paceline will make your ride a lot more fun.

We'll have break near the midpoint of the ride, so everyone can have a snack and stretch.

Faster riders are welcome, too, just  come willing to work with everyone. AND no hijacking the pace.
