Details (RL read field instructions carefully):

This is being posted for the first time this year and may be an "exploration ride" for some who attend. The route will be decided upon at the start of the ride but we may do some of the most technical Mtn Bike features on LI (but all these can be avoided if desired). Quite a few hills to climb to make it an effort to ride. All of Shoreham is an extensive piece of property that may have parts north of Rt 25A disappear into a solar farm in a few years. Any questions regarding this ride try texting me at the cell # below (answer may be delayed based on activity ;-) .

The forecast indicates that this may be the best place to ride as the north shore trails dry out faster than other parts of LI.

I'm thinking of bringing my road bike along just in case it turns out to be too muddy on the trail. If the ride is changed to a road bike ride then the pace will be a B pace unless enough riders show up to split into two groups. If necessary we will do a 20-25 mile road ride. This is a good parking lot to do a road ride from.

Check back to this posting as Life Happens and Things Change!

No need to arrive 20 minutes early and over heat in the car; please just be ready to ride at the posted Start Time.
