For those who aren't training for the century, or doing the metric, riders who had a late night on Friday, those who wanted to sleep a little longer, riders who had a dispute with their significant other and needed some space, riders who wanted to go a tad slower, riders who forgot to set the alarm clock, riders who went to the wrong start location, riders who got lost, riders who thought it was still Friday, riders who got thrown out of the house, those who wanted to blow off steam, those who didn't want to go to the dentist, but most of all for those who just want to have fun!!!.-----
It's off to Manorville. The average pace for the ride will be between 14.0 to 15.0 mph +/ depending on the roads, wind direction, rider ability or other conditions. Naturally, the road speed will be higher (15 -17.0 mph.) to produce the average. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 14. There are a few places along the route where leg stretches can be done for those who wish to do so. There is no obligation for anyone to do this; you can hang back with me. If it's a nice day we might add a mile or two but no more.
Park all the way in the corner by the old Chase bank…Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00am, if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call or text me anytime if you have questions about the ride.
