Just heard about a woman cyclist killed last evening on 25A by a drugged driver. 25A! Was the woman a club member? Very tragic and impossible to avoid such a random criminal act (I hope that the driver gets the maximum penalty) Does the club do memorials? Do you have a Ride of Silence? I am new to the club and here part time from Westchester . 25A would be a good place to have this ride- usually a 3 mile very slow ride, with police escorts. Raise consciousness. Pay respects to this cyclist whose life was stolen. My deepest sympathies are with this cyclist and her family and friends.
