St Baldricks Foundation 5 Boro Bike Tour 2.0

    Hi Fellow SBRAers

Last year I organized the first ever 5 Boro Bike Tour team for the benefit of the St Baldrick's Foundation, the #1 sponsor of pediatric cancer research. It was a very successful event raising over $23,000 for this extremely important and historically underfunded disease.

This year we're doing it again, and its on Cinco de Mayo to boot!  We still have 3-4 openings available for anyone who might want to do more than "just ride" in this awesome event. As a charity rider you receive many of the VIP benefits including a "Pre first wave" start time, a hospitality breakfast before the start and an amazing catered lunch at the finish festival (including a free beer). The early start means you'll get a smooth ride without the delays some complain about and you'll know you're riding for a cause AND there's no need to shave your head (Unless you want to). Did I mention the free beer?

The best part is you'll be helping to raise much needed funding for the #1 killer of children; pediatric cancer, a disease that took the life of my daughter in 2010.

Each rider is pledged to raise $1000.00 to become a team member and ride, there is no cost to you for entry into the tour (other than the fundraising).

If you're interested feel free to contact me by email (J1954a@optonline.net), at the monthly meeting, or give me a call at 631-948-0545.  If you'd like to sponsor me with a donation, you can do it online at the St Baldricks website by clicking (or copying) this link:
