Welcome new members and beginners. This is the ride for you! You will learn all you need to know for riding/group riding. We will cover rules of the road, group riding etiquette, clothing/gear, basic maintenance, tire changing, and reading a cue sheet. This is a 6 week series of rides. At the end of the series, you will be equipped with the skills to move on to longer or faster rides. We will meet rain or shine, but WILL NOT ride in the rain. Instead, we will cover topics such as maintenance and tire changing. This is the "faster" of the 2 rides I will lead today. If you are unsure which ride to take, come to the 11am ride this week, and see if you are ready for something more challenging next week. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE HEAT, THIS RIDE WILL BE SLIGHTLY SHORTER. DUE TO MAJOR ROADWORK OUT OF THE ECOLOGY PARK, WE WILL PUSH OFF FROM PATCHOGUE TRAIN STATION.
