I have modified the route on the way out as well as the way back. We are going to take Bennetts Road to Sheep Pasture on the way out, doing away with Old Town. Eliminating Ridge Road/Medford/Smith/Longwood/Bartlett on the way back. Some riders have complained that the road surfaces are in lousy condition i.e. Bartlett, North Country west bound, and Sheep Pasture east of Old Town. On the return we will take Whiskey to Pine, to Old Town Road, and home. These roads are smoother, less traveled, and Old Town Road has a dedicated bike lane. The ride pace will be a strong "B", cue sheets will be provided. Last week the ride was hijacked by a few none members and I will not allow this to occur on this ride. I estimate the mileage @ 44, give or take a few. Weather looks good for Saturday, with moderate temps. Hope to see you then. 631-478-7812
