NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Changes:

(1) There is rain in the forecast for around 11 AM in Eastport, so I have changed my ride start location to Sayville (where rain isn't forecast until around 1PM) and the start time to 9 AM.

(2) Since Bill also posted a C+/B- for almost the same distance as I had, I have changed my ride to a C+, for 22 miles.

This C+ ride will average 12 - 12.5, depending on the winds, the riders, etc. and since the exact route will be determined at the start, there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. 

NOTE #1: You must be a club member to go on club rides.

NOTE #2: rides at this time are limited. You MUST text me with your name & SBRA Member Number if you want to ride. I will return the text: YES, you have a spot…or…NO, Ride Filled...CELL #: 631-523-2129

Off to Bean and Bagel, riding on the Grumman trail and local roads.  Special views of a backyard where the owner's carved huge chess pieces from tall tree stumps.   Bean and Bagel has an outdoor tent for great social distancing, and bathrooms. To join this ride text Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, your full name and date of ride. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:30am.
