NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

It is going to be a windy day so we will take it easy. Pretty straight forward , we will head out of the train station and ride into the village . 

Once there we will stop in the deli and have breakfast . No rush.  The wind should be on our backs on the return trip so it should be a much easier ride back.

Get ready to launch for a paceline ride out to Riverhead, where we will have a short stop at the McDonald's. We'll follow a route that will hide us from the wind for much of the time, and we'll keep everyone together!  The route with go through the Pine Barrens and feature a run along Route 24. We'll drop the pace down a little for this ride, so that those who want to get back on the road will have a chance!

AND, we can search for the ever elusive Shamrock Shake!  

So let's get all the O'riders out and celebrate St. Patrick's day a little early...

Don't forget it's Daylight Savings Time!
