NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We'll miss Jeremy but hopefully you won't miss his ride. I'll be filling Jeremy's big shoes for this one. This will be as close to the usual ride as possible (always a great ride). Try something different this weekend - ride to Cupsogue Beach. We'll open this one to B/B+ riders, but this will be a paceline ride.
We'll ride through Eastport and Remsenberg and then let everyone ride their own pace down Dune Road. The return sees us hit the Casa Basso, before we ride through Eastport to home.
the ususal ride out to Manorville with a stop at DD..text if you are coming. I am shortening the miles due to heat for the shortest route possible.. could be less than 34..
We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon docks. Our restroom stop will be at the docks in Babylon. On our way back we will make a run to Islip Beach where one can stretch their legs going and coming from the beach.
Please brink your snacks and drinks for this ride.
This ride will have an average speed around 15 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.

Park in the south lot of the King Kullen lot. Easy meander to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge. No planned food stop so bring a snack and plenty of water. Optional pizza or ice cream after the ride. Check back here for any changes which would be posted by 7 am.

Going to Manorville today. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 13. There are a few places along the route for a break-a-way for those who wish to do so. Pulling is always appreciated for those who want, but not required. The route we take to Manorville will depend on the wind direction. This will be a B- ride with the average speed between 14.5 & 15.0.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0745 if necessary.
THIS ROUTE WILL TAKE US 23-28 MILES AT A 11.5-12.5 PACE. THERE WILL BE A REST ROOM BREAK 1/2 WAY.
We will now be on the SOUTH SIDE of the Ronk train station near the Western end of the parking lot closest to Railroad Ave. Bring a snack and hydration. Route depends on riders ability, wind, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. As always newbies always well taken care of and no one gets dropped. Wheels down at posted time as "Daylights A Burnin" so get there 15 minutes before. Any cancellation will be by 8Am. No need to text me, just "show n go".
Coming from LIE take Ronkonkoma Ave. South, just over RR bridge make 3 right turns, parking is on right, corner of Railroad AVe and Ronkonkoma Ave.
Coming from Lakeland Ave. Sunrise Hwy., go North just pass Vets Hwy make right on Smithtown Ave (following alongside of airport), just before bridge make right on Railroad Ave, parking is on left side (go past one way entrance and make 1st available left into lot).
