Ride out to Eastport with stops to look at the view en-route. Stopping at Netties at mile 20 for snacks and bathroom - don't eat too much or you won't enjoy the tailgating at the end of the ride, (contributions welcome), join in and meet other SBRA members.
This will be a mixed terrain ride, some road, some gravel, singletrack, doubletrack, fireroads, and sand. No official rest stop planned, but we will take breaks as needed. Not really recommended for tires less than 35mm in width. Liz and I are using 58's, wider is definitely better. (Course will be somewhat different than last year) This ride is great for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, fat bikes, and everything inbetween. Rode the route on 9/18 and everything was in good shape.
We will be riding on lots of multi-use trails, we will be considerate of others.
Please take tick precautions, use whatever works for you, bring a spare tube, be sure to have water and a snack or two.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
