NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

The weather looks good for a road ride on Monday, especially before rain and more colder weather. Let's jump on it. B+/A-, cruise 20mph, avg 19-20. The wind should not be a factor for a change. A short break will be on the shores of Wildwood lake. Wait-ups if needed but the last one after Mill Rd and Halsey Manor/Connecticut will be in the parking lot at Vet's Mem. Park. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll leave from home -- so please be sure to text that you're coming, with your SBRA number and emergency phone number.  My cell:  631-835-1454.

This will be a SLOW ride, people, even on the flats.  The old route through Stony Brook/Setauket.  When we get to the hills, take what ever speed and we'll meet at the top. Expect an average around 12mph.  No bathroom break, just a snack stop at the lighthouse. Any changes or cancellation will be posted by 8:30 morning of ride.  New hill riders welcome.

First Swing at an Mid Afternoon road ride before it gets to dark. Plan to ride 23 miles from Ecology site. Park on side street. Roll at 3:30. Can make few minutes later if that works for you. Please text me but want to roll..Ride all of Woodside to Gerard rd to Main at Yaphank up Sills 101 back to Woodside.

Woods May be to wet from potential rain tonight.
