Scenic ride with rollers and a hill, hence a C/B- We will tour Strongs Neck, Old Field, Cranes Neck and West Meadow beach. Hills will be taken at your own pace, but wait for me at the top please, my hill legs are still on strike.
Park at the back, left hand side of the carpark. Bring your own snacks refreshments as there is no place to buy anything. We will take a short break at the lighthouse.
Today's Mi Tierrita ride will be going to the Beach. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there. The average pace for the ride will be 15 mph, depending on the roads and wind direction. The road speed will be between 15.0 and 16.0 mph. The usual break-a-ways will happen for those who desire. We'll stop along the way for a bathroom break around mile 10. Don’t forget to bring a snack. Do you know what AGUAPANELA is? Come and find out. Pulls are appreciated
Join me for this C ride, which will average 11.0 - 11.6, no one gets dropped, and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. We will loop around part of lower Stony Brook, then go around St. James. We will take our break at the St. James Bagel Shop (food, beverages, and bathroom available). Route to be determined the morning of the ride, so no cue sheets.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start to "get yourself" ready.
