CHANGED TO SUNDAY, due to iffy weather on Saturday
Early start, early finish. Enjoy this scenic ride out to Netties with the rest stop at mile 26. We'll average in the mid lane range of B-, cruisng 15 - 17 mph, the tour of the coast line will slow the pace a bit, but worth it! Any changes will be posted by 6 AM Sunday. Kindly text me if you plan to do this ride. Call or text any questions to 631-455-4251.
HI, Donna Leahy subbing for Howard's usual sunday ride. We will go the usual route heading south using Connetquot Park bike path. We will work our way down to Heckscher Park. Pulling is appreciated. I would like to keep the average road speed between 16 and 19mph and would like to come in just under 16.0 mph. There will be 2 to 3 stretches where riders can go at their own pace.
Please, cyclists coming with E-bikes must stay at the end of the bike line.
We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon. There will be a quick coffee break at the Docks. This is a B- ride that will average around 14.5 - 15 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.
If you have any questions call or text Mike at 516 448-8545.
We will follow the same route as Donna except it will be shorter, and slower. We are going to take a break at the bagel shop about half way through the ride. I hope to come in with an average between 13.5 to 14 mph. In order to get this the road speed will be between 14 and 16 mph. Things could change slightly due to the road conditions and the wind. There will be, (hopefully) GOOD STUFF after the ride
Pulling always appreciated
If you have any questions, or concerns please text me at 631.484.3490. Should there be a cancelation or change it will be posted by 7:45am.
