Call Me LuckyLucky!

This means I'm the luckiest cyclist of the day and maybe for the entire year! There was a Dr. on the ride with me and thankfully I didn't end up needing his services. I finished the curved downhill on RT 25A from St. James to Stonybrook (passing Gyrodyne property) and began the Stonybrook Rd uphill at a good speed. After the turn I heard a clicking sound which stopped at 10-15 seconds ... I dismissed it as something the tire picked up and thought I might get a flat but didn't stop to investigate ... after all the sound had stopped! When I got back to the car this is what I found ... the clicking noise was the tip of the stick where it was hitting my fork until it just cleared. I knew I had a great ride! Call me LuckyLucky!
