NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

With the long straight runs on Woodside Ave and Victory Ave and not too many turns I had thought about posting this as a B/B+ ( 16-17 ) but since that classification has become indistinguishable from B+ I am keeping it as a B ride with the possibility that we may finish slightly over 16 ( 16.0 - 16.5 ). This is not a pace line ride. There will be a short food/rest stop at McD's in Center Moriches. Cancellation for any reason will be posted no later than 7AM Friday.

this will be a pre ride to holtsville fire dept @ mile 10.5 and yaphank fire dept @ mile 18 and then head back to the rinx.
we will be checking the road markings so this ride will be moderately paced to accomplish this task.
