NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Pace line, relaxed, no pushing, no pedal pounding, no breathlessness, no angina, no wait ups, no breakaways, no nothing(I know, double neg). I have a long night ahead of me and I need to stay Fresh.

I go where my reindeer take me. There's Tommy and Ronny and Brian and Glen, Ali and Billy and Jimmy and Len, but the one that likes to perform is that little reindeer called Norm. When there are no stars and the sky is barren, I call upon the one we call Karen!

**Update 12/24/2014 – 7:10AM. Due to wet roads and rain the ride is CANCELED. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I will see you all on Saturday.**

How about a ride to Ronkonkoma today? The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 to 15.0 mph and the extra tad if the wind works in our favor. The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph, stopping around mile 17 for our morning coffee at the Ronkonkoma Lounge. As usual there will be a spot or two where one can stretch the legs if desired.
