NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

As you will see from the ohter posts, we are doing a multi-level ride starting behind Twin Forks Cycles. Nick will have refreshements for us after the ride and then, if you wish, join us for lunch at the North Fork Lobster Roll (I recently ate at the one on the way to Montauk and it is delicious!). I am unsure of my route and exact mileage yet so check back prior to the ride but it won't be more than 30 miles. Contact me with any questions.
We are doing a multi-level ride. See Tricia's post for details. This ride will be at a pace that will average between 13.5-14mph, depending upon wind, temperature, road conditions and rider ability. The route will meander thru Mattituck, Cutchogue and New Suffolk. Bring snacks and a drink. After the ride many of us will be driving to the North Fork Lobster Roll. For info. call Bill Gravitz at 631-356-3036. Check the ride calendar day of ride, any changes will be posted by 07:15am.
Join the Lobster Roll Multilevel Ride on this scenic moderately paced ride. See Peconic Bay and Long Island Sound. Join us for Lunch at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Avenue if you wish. We will Visit Mattituck Village, New Suffolk Village and the Mattituck inlet Park. B- Pace is a max cruising on the flats of 17 mph, Average moving speed will be approximately 14.5 depending on Wind, Weather and the group. No one gets dropped. Waitups on Turns. Breaks at Mattituck village and the Mattituck inlet park. Bring snacks for the breaks.
If you enjoyed my SBRA Picnic ride on the North Fork, this is your chance to do it again! If you missed it, you have another chance to ride this beautiful route! We will start at the Riverhead Waterfront down behind Twin Fork Bike Shop. Nick has graciously invited us to come in the shop for refreshments after the ride. Some of us are then heading to the Lobster Roll on Sound Ave. for lunch. Please join us! This is going to be a multi level ride, so watch for posts in various ride categories. Call my cell with any questions. Hope to see you on the ride!
Join us for this ride starting in Riverhead. Please park in the municipal lot behind main street. The route will be similiar to the Picnic Ride just starting from a different place. We will be going to the Lobster Roll for lunch after the ride so bring a change of clothes if you plan on coming.
Today’s Mi Tierrita ride will be going to Smith’s Point. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there and of course the Woodside bigger incline. The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 to 15.0 mph, +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, and other conditions which could put the ride in the lower part of a "B". The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph. We'll stop along the way for a pee break. Bring a snack for the beach stop. There are a few places along the route where leg stretches can be be done for those who wish.
As usual Eduardo has invited us in for a snack and refreshments after the ride. PARKING: Use the area of the parking lot on the SOUTH side first.
Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:30AM, if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about the ride or need directions to the start
