One more weekend in the 40 mile range before adding some mileage.. Still at a slow B hoping to step it up next week in miles and speed. I will move this to Sunday if the weather Saturday is not good in the morning so please make sure to take a look for updates before you head out.
No fee to park until May so disregard note about parking fee.
This 26 mile ride will be a B- ride, averaging 14.5 mph with cruising speeds 15-18 mph. We'll go south into Great River for a loop in the park before heading north and then east over to the Bohemia McD's for a break at mile 15.
Start time changed to 10 am to allow roads to dry a little more and the bathrooms should be open by then at the park.
No parking fee til end of May. Not sure the bathrooms will be open yet so stop on your way, if needed. We will be doing a lesser known route (an old SBRA cue sheet) and going to our break stop in Sayville around mile 20. Always check back for any changes which would be posted by 7 am. Early forecast is for morning showers so I may delay or change to Sunday so check here or feel free to text/call me.
Delaying the ride start until 10:00 AM. I'm letting the weather clear-through and the roads to dry!

Ride may be delayed / postponed, if the rains continue into the late morning. So, check the calendar for changes!
