Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. I’m looking to add some diversity to my usual Thursday route, so this week we will use the east exit from the parking lot.The ride will be a steady 21mph, except for up William Floyd, around the jets, through Grumman, Mill, 24,51,111, Grumman Ave, and back through Grumman; otherwise, smooth as silk.I hope to see you there.
Today's Mi Tierrita ride will be going to Smith’s Point. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there. The route on the way back may change depending on the wind.
The average pace for the ride will be between 14.5 to 15.0 mph, depending on the roads and wind direction. The road speed will be between 15 and 16.5 mph. We'll stop along the way for a bathroom break around mile 10. Don’t forget to bring a snack for the stop along the way.
Do you know what AGUAPANELA is? Come and find out; PARKING: Use the area of the parking lot on the SOUTH side first

Join me for this easy and almost completely flat ride from Riverhead to Mattituck, where we will take a break at the Deli on Love Lane. We will return through Jamesport, up and around Riverhead, and end up at the start. There will be cue sheets.
The average pace will be around 12.3 - 12.9, or so, unless those in the group wish to go faster.
Park in the lot across from Krebs. Just some easy miles to keep the legs loose for the Metric on Saturday. Check back for any changes which would be posted by 7 am.
