Off to Briermere"s with a brief stop at the American Bison Farm. If the Bison are in a field near the road, it's a "kodak" moment, and worth stopping for. If you are interested in sharing a pie, bring singles and change. Coffee/tea, baked goods, fruit slushies are also available, as are bathrooms and a shaded picnic area. For info: contact Bill G. at 631-356-3036. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 06:45am. Park in the Vet's lot at the far left end, the furthest area from the ball fields.
Posting for John while he is horsing around elsewhere. This is the regular route which includes 51 and 111. The usual wait-ups as the group will be kept together. See you there.
Let's give the Bartlets a try again. They offer a bit of a challenge for poor hill climbers like me, but if we push on through this ride a few times we should get stronger. Although, I must say, it hasn't worked for me yet, but I haven't given up trying. So, come on out and suffer with me. The pace will be a B- until we hit the hills then it will be at whatever pace you can do and there will be a wait-up for me at the end of the Bartlets. We will take a short break at the golf course. Coffee, eggs, rolls, etc. are available or bring your own snack. Cancelations or changes will be posted by 730 am.

We’ll be going to the Yaphank area, the Patchogue area, or the Holbrook area. It all depends on the riders and the wind. Most riders like the LI Avenue run, so if possible that will be choice one.
