NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

This ride was changed from Tuesday to Thursday due to rain. Off to Brieremere's, with a brief viewing stop of the American Bison, if they are in a pasture near the road we are on. If you want to share a pie, bring $. Inidividual pastries are available, as are bathrooms and plenty of outdoor seating. If you wish to join this ride, text me, at 631-356-3036, with your SBRA , emergency and cell numbers, full name, and date of ride. You must have a mask, and follow the Covid rules found after this ride description. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:00am.

We will be going to Shoreham via Whisky Rd and returning via E Bartlett. There are some hills and we will wait for anyone that is slower. We usually come in at a high B- to low B depending on the riders and the wind. No one dropped. Changes by 7:30 that morning.
COME ON THIS 18-22 MILE RIDE AT A 10.6-12 PACE. Newbies always welcome and well taken care of. Bring face covering, water and a snack if we do not stop as direction depends on the wind direction, tide, position of moon and leaders disposition. Nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:30am. PARK ON SOUTH SIDE OF RR IN LOT ACROSS FROM SCHOOL.
Yes...this is a last minute post just because I feel like doing a quick loop around the park :) If you'd like to join me, please text me at 631-521-0688. Please be prepared by having lights on your bike and wearing visible clothing. The trail is nice and wide but it will get dark sooner due to the surrounding trees...with that said....please be prepared to leave promptly at 4:45 PM, the restrooms are open in the park, so feel free to utilize them prior to leaving. There will be one brief water break on the trail and if the group is "all in", the pace could be on the quick side, especially on the return trip to our cars in the park.
