The M.O.M Memorial Day ride will be the usual lake tour but maybe without Peconic Lake, depending on the state of Dam Rd which crosses over the East end of the lake/river. Construction may prohibit the ride from taking that road.If we cannot do it we will take Connecticut Ave to Mill and head East to Route 24 to Wildwood Lake. Then route 51 South to Route 111 North to Halsey Manor to Mill, westbound this time. Then back the usual route.
Wait ups on the top of 51 and 111 at Halsey Manor and as needed. A rest stop will be at Wildwood lake. B+/A- steady pace, 19-23mph. No surging please. The Average should be 19-20.
Don't be afraid to wear something that honors our veterans and service men/women. Hope to see you there. EARLY START 8 am.
