Join me for this C+ ride, which will average 12.1 - 12.8, no one gets dropped, and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. We will loop around part of lower Stony Brook, then go around St. James. We will take our break at the St. James Bagel Shop (food, beverages, and bathroom available). Route to be determined the morning of the ride, so no cue sheets.

The old route through Stony Brook/Setauket. When we get to the hills, take whatever speed, fast or slow, and we'll meet at the top. Expect an average of 13+. No bathroom break, just a snack stop at the lighthouse. Any changes or cancellation will be posted by 7:30 morning of ride. New hill riders welcome.
This ride will take us around the Holbrook area, and then up to Ronkonkoma before turning around, heading south, back to Holbrook. At the end of the ride we can all go for coffee and a bagel and chat as usual, if you want. The average pace for this ride will be between 14.0 & 14.5 mph; +/-. Naturally the road speed will be higher (14.5-16.0 to produce the average. This short ride has 3 break-a-ways. One rolling, and 2 downhill's to a flat. Up hills - let's call it an overpass and a short upgrade.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0730 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.484.3490. Eventually my phone and I will meet in a reasonable amount of time...
This will be an easy paceline spin from the parking lot across from the Maples, leading us out to the Panera Bread in Riverhead.
The route will take us out through the fields and through Riverhead to Panera, where hopefully we'll run into John Shea's group. The return will take us around the lake on Forge and South River Roads, leading us back to River and Old River Roads and to Manorville.
We will be leaving The Wharf and head to Blue Piont/Corey Beach for a 23 mile ride. The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.
Changes or cancelation will be posted by 1:30pm day of ride.
