Ride out to Dunkin Donuts

Join me for this C ride, which will average 11 - 11.5, no one gets dropped, and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. We will loop around part of lower Stony Brook, then go around St. James. We will take our break at the St. James Bagel Shop (food, beverages, and bathroom available). Route to be determined the morning of the ride, so no cue sheets.

NOTE: I am limiting the number of riders on my rides, so you must text me with your name, SBRA Member Number, and Emergency Contact Phone Number if you want to ride, I will return the text: YES, you have a spot; NO, ride is filled. CELL #: 631-523-2129.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start to "get yourself" ready.

This will be our weekly normal Mi Tierrita ride to the Smithspoint Beach, unless it is extremely cold or windy in that we will detour to the Smithpoint Marina. The ride will be a B pace and should average around 15.5. 

Please check ride calendar morning of in case of ride cancellation. Lastly any and all help in pulling is greatly appreciated.

This will be a B- ride. Expect an average between 14.0 and 15.0 It's getting cold and I need to slow down a bit. In order to get this average the road speeds will be between 15.0 and 16.0 mph. The main objective is to finish the ride without being too concerned about the average. The average will depend mainly on the wind, the hills, and who shows up. We will stay together and there will be one or two break-a-ways for those who want. We will take a break at the Marina. A quick rest stop at Wertheim about mile 10. Pulls would be appreciated.

After the ride Eduardo has invited us in for some GOOD Stuff.

B paced spin out to Riverhead.  This will be a no-drop ride. We'll start the ride a little later to let things warm-up!

Remember to dress in layers for this ride!

The ride will take us on some lightly rolling terrain out East to Riverhead, where we will have a short break at Goldberg's at around 17 miles.

After the break, it's north on Route 24 to Grumman Blvd., and back to the finish.

Faster riders are welcome, just don't try to jack the pace up!
