NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Eastport is one of the best begineer venues. This will be a Begineer/Intermediate ride! I will ride as slow as the slowest rider and we'll have waitups if necessary.

Join me for this C ride, which will average 11.2 - 11.9; no one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Ride route will be determined by the road conditions; decision to be made the morning of the ride; no cue sheets. We will either head to Blue Point (bathrooms at the RR Station) and then take our break at the Atlantic Ave. Deli; or to the Smith Point Marina, with a bathroom beak at Wertheim.

The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride you must text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.

So, we'll leave from The Maples parking lot for a civil spin ride out to Briermere.  It's the last day they're open until Spring 2024!

We'll make this a fun "B" ride and keep everyone together, except the run up County Road 105.  There you can sprint to the stop at around 19.5 miles.

We may do a little paceline work,  so that everyone can share the work fighting the wind.  But, it's a holiday so let's keep the pace in control and enjoy the ride!
