I am posting a B/B+ however i think the ride will come in at the low end of the category, 16-16-3? It will depend on the weather, wind etc. We have been riding at the level the group is geared to. .Folks are just starting to find thier groove after the winter so don't let the pace deter you. Any questions text me # below.
This C+ ride of 18-25 miles will average 11.5-12.5mph. Bring snack/hydration as route depends on wind, tide, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. Newbies welcome and well taken care of and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:30am. No need to text, email, phone, send message by carrier pidgeon or smoke signal me. Just show up 15-20 minutes before ride start to get your s**t together.
Ride the Four Peninsula rollars and hills of Three Village area, Setauket, Stony Brook and Old Field. Ride will head first to West Meadow/Trustees Road for a bathroom opportunity.
Country roads, rollers, hills and water views.
Ride should come in at a C+/B- pace, 13-14mph average, being slowed by rollers, hills and turns. At times we will be cruising in the 17+mph range.
This ride is about getting out to see where we are at. For those that are faster there will be spots to take off. For any slower riders we will take care of you to. I'm going to try to avoid the wind as much as possible. Call if you have any questions.
