Another training ride in preparation for those big events, like the Bloomin' Metric and the SBRA RxR Century.  This will be a paceline ride!

The start is at the Kreb Cycle in Eastport.  The parking lot is hidden down an alleyway behind the store.  Please park in the northwest corner of the lot.

We'll again follow parts of the Century's course. This will take us out through Westhampton Beach, Quogue and eventually to Southampton Village.  We'll have a food / rest stop in Southampton, before we head our way back west. 

The return takes us along Montauk Hwy. back through Shinnecock, and then the rolling terrain of Bay Ave.  We'll finish along the loop that takes us past the Casa Basso.

Hopefully there won't be any other surprise road closures!

This 18-24 mile ride will now be on the SOUTH SIDE of the Ronk train station near the Western end of the parking lot closest to Railroad Ave. Bring a snack and hydration. Route depends on riders ability, wind, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. As always newbies always well taken care of and no one gets dropped. Wheels down at posted time as "Daylights A Burnin" so get there 15 minutes before. Any cancellation will be by 8:00am. No need to text me, just "show n go".

Coming from LIE take Ronkonkoma Ave. South, just over RR bridge make 3 right turns, parking is on right, corner of Railroad AVe and Ronkonkoma Ave.

Coming from Lakeland Ave. Sunrise Hwy., go North just pass Vets Hwy make right on Smithtown Ave (following alongside of airport), just before bridge make right on Railroad Ave, parking is on left side (go past one way entrance and make 1st available left into lot).

B- to McDs in Manorville. It's a group ride so let's avoid gaps so we all enjoy the ride.

27 miles with option to do more or peel off and do less. Will explain at ride start. Let's see what the wind is doing.

Today's’ route to Great River will change up a bit towards the end of the ride - if the wind is in our favor; making this route pretty flat except for 2 overpasses. We will go the usual route heading south using the Connetquot Park bike bath. We’ll work our way down to Heckscher Park .I would like to keep the road speed  between 15- 16 mph and come in at an average 14 and 14.9. Pulls Always Appreciated
